I first picked up a tennis racquet when I was 5 years old and have loved playing tennis ever since. I learnt the game at my local tennis club Glendowie and in 2009 I won the Senior Club Champs as a 17 year old.

I have played in countless junior tournaments and represented my high school’s premier team and club in interclub, playing Caro Reserve for Glendowie.

I have been coaching for over nine years. In 2008, I first began by coaching juniors privately at my local club and as an assistant to the head coach at their school-holiday programmes. I have coached 5 to 18 year olds of varying ability from beginners to elite regional players as well as adults in my time as a coach.

I studied for four years at AUT University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Sport and Recreation, majoring in Management and a bachelors degree in Business majoring in Finance.

I completed the Assistant Junior Coaching Course at Tennis Northern in 2011 making me a certified coach in New Zealand, and in 2018 completed the Tennis NZ Junior Development Coaching course.
